I know this is a few days late but I thought I would post it anyways…
On February 25th Eva turned 4 years old. Hard to believe that my baby is not a baby anymore but a little girl. We didn’t have a big party for her. I took Eva and three of her best friends out to lunch on her birthday and the girls had a really great time. In the evening we had dinner and cake (with pink frosting and a “Hello Kitty” candle). She wanted to bring chocolate chip cookies to her preschool friends but, unfortunately, we got hit with a snow storm and school was canceled. This just meant that we had a lot of cookies to munch on through the weekend. We are almost done with them. All in all, it was a great day.
Here are a few photos of today’s snow storm. It’s still snowing right now and is suppose to snow through the night, although it should stop by the morning. Our mayor is optimistic and public schools are open tomorrow so Emma will be back at school.

Here is a video from Jamaica. It was a Karaoke night at Kids’ Klub. The kids and the parents had a great time.
Last week was observation week at the ballet school where the girls take lessons. Observation week is the only time parents are allowed in the classroom and are able to take photos and videos so here a couple of videos of the girls. Enjoy.

Happy 2010, everyone!! 2009 was a great year for us. We went to Disney World twice and had a wonderful time. The girls and I spent two months in B.C. visiting family and friends. It was amazing and we really hope that we can do the same in the summer of 2010. In September Eva started pre-school and Emma went to Kindergarten. She is already reading and writing. We wrapped the year up by going to Jamaica. We all had a great time. We signed the girls up at Kids Klub and they went there every day. They spent their time playing and doing crafts. They made many friends and were not bored for a single moment. Because the kids were occupied the grown ups were able to relax and enjoy themselves as well. It was a pretty nice way to finish one year and to start the next. I am sure there will be lots of adventures in the new year.

We are in the midst of a snow storm right now. Earlier today, when it just started to snow, Jesse took the girls up to our roof and they played in the snow. A snow ball fight has been a topic of a discussion since yesterday afternoon when they found out it might snow today. So the girls were pretty excited about playing in/with the snow. Here is a short video of girls playing.
